This class will be approx 90min long.
Join me for a fun and informative class where weโll quiet the mind, tune into the body, and explore movement in a safe, supportive space. This is a place where you can feel your feelings without judgment, reconnect with yourself, and leave with a newfound zest - plus joints that feel freshly oiled! You will be able to walk away from this class with a treatment and also the confidence to utilize this treatment at home too.
Refreshment will be available to help ground.
*Need 4 people to hold class.
Jiu Jitsu can provide the missing link to take your healing to the next level. By directly exposing you to triggers you fear, Missy can help you work through mental and physical challenges. We will practice getting up in base and defending against pushing. You will learn how to leverage your body in such a way that an attacker would have difficulty controlling you. Missy focuses on the fine details that help make techniques work every time. You will leave feeling more confident in your body and ability to defend yourself.
Myofascial Release (MFR) fits so well with Jiu Jitsu because it can also provide a safe and loving space to face your fears. MFR frees up those tight areas within your body creating more mobility and flexibilty to move with ease. Giving yourself 5 minutes daily to self treat will give you cumulative effects. Much like a mutual fund with compound interest.
